0021 150x150 Flea Market Business Finds
Starting year number 24 with my flea market business has become a lot more profitable since I started picking and selling on Amazon. I became a picker back in the summer after taking the PAC Course. Now I am what is known in sports as a ‘triple threat’. I make money 3 different ways at the flea market.

Today I will talk about the PAC way and tell you what I found this morning. I will tell you what prices I saw when I scanned these items and what I paid for each one. Then we will see what the profits are. At the end I will also show you my sales summary for the last 30 days on Amazon.

My first stop this morning was with a very nice lady and her granddaughter. They had several ‘NEW’ (the only thing I look for) items. She was a first timer selling at the flea market and I was her first customer. It is so true that the ‘early bird gets the worm’.

I purchased an adult game called “OutBurst Remix”. I know nothing about this game except this…when I scanned the barcode here is what it is currently selling for on Amazon: $94.50 + $6.97 shipping with a sales rank of 58K which means it will sell pretty fast. That’s the cheapest one. Then next one is $103 and then they jump up to $135+. There also are NO FBA Sellers which will increase my selling position on Amazon and I can put a nice price on it. $139.95 sounds like a good number.

She has a label on the box with a price of $6.95. As I said earlier this is her first time selling at the market. Most sellers don’t put prices on their items or have store prices like $6.95. Remember my flea market is all outdoors and one of the last true “junk markets” around. I kindly asked if she would take $6.00 and she agreed.

Next I scanned two Disney board books with price tags of $6.95 again. The first one is a Disney mix and is selling for $18.95  and the other one is all Disney Cars and sells for $17.99. Ok but not great. I ask if she will take $12 for the pair and she agrees. She also had a pair of ‘Shake ‘N Go’ toys. One ‘Ramone’ that sells for $24.99 & a  ‘Mater’ at $14.99. By now you know her asking price right? $6.95 ;>) I ask if she will sell the pair for $10 since I have bought the other items and she once again agrees. I scan a few other items pay her and move on.

My next stop is a vendor who sells every week. He has a blood pressure monitor and a cool Michael Jackson musical ornament. Looks like a juke box, lights up and plays three different songs. Sells for $45.43. How much I ask? Five bucks he replies. I scan the BPM and see it goes for $88.17. He wants $35. I ask if he can do any better and he says $30. I pay and move on.

Next I scan a Quick-Build Model kit. Sells for $15.95, I pay three bucks. Next I find a 550 piece puzzle. Sells for $27.50 and I purchase for two bucks. Then I find some ‘square mugs’. These come 8 to the box & sell for $14 on Amazon. I ask the price and he says $1.50 a box. He only has three so I ask if he has any more and he says he will bring them next week. I pay and move on.

I go back to my spot and start getting ready to set up to sell my stuff. So that was the morning run. I will make two or three more passes over the flea market before the day is done.

So lets see what my morning profits look like so far. I got $216.87 for $28 from the nice lady. I got $133.60 from my regular seller for $35 and $85.45 for $9.50 from various tables. That’s $435.92 retail for $72.50 for a profit of $363.42. Not a bad morning is it? Took maybe an hour of my time.

This is a very part time thing for me and if you want to find out how you can do this click>> The PAC Course

My stats for the last 30 days on Amazon are:

Gross Units
7 Days $888 31
15 Days $2,565 80
30 Days $4,027 133

Until Next Time…Go Build Another Stream,

Wayne O. Stanila
